Meet our first Internship Candidate:

Giftston is a diploma graduate in agriculture and a Medical Emergency technician. He will be working with our aquaponic project (growing fish and vegetables in organic ways) on an internship program for the next 6 months. Giftson's family moved to our neighbourhood recently, he was looking for an opportunity to do an internship with an agricultural farm. For sometime we have been looking for someone who is a professional who can help with our RAS aquaponics - (It’s a government supported project) We are amazed by the knowledge that Giftson already has and which will surely enable us to take the project to the next level.

A story from Nambikkai Farm worker

Vasantha is one of the farm workers who has been working with us for last two years. She is a hard-working lady who comes from a dalit background. Recently she spoke to Sam, who is managing the farm while I, Ruban am away, saying that “ I feel blessed to work with Nambikkai Farm, I had worked many other farms in the past, I saw there is a huge distance between the owners and the workers- Some owners even abuse the workers with their words and actions- In Nambikkai we feel respected, we feel safe and we do feel at our own farm- Thank you for taking care of us” – It was really a heart touching testimony” We thank God for the privilege of serving lives.
